Welcome to Reformer Essentials. This class is designed for clients new to Reformer Pilates or experienced clients looking to slow things down and perfect their form. This class is taught at a slower pace and focuses on the foundation of Pilates with layers offered to increase the intensity.

Welcome to Core. This all-levels class is infused with just the right amount of creativity and sculpting sequences to target legs, glutes, arms, and core. Exercises are taught in layers, and increase in intensity so you can pick the level that’s right for you. Be prepared to work hard and leave feeling accomplished and energized. This class is fast paced and recommended for clients that have taken at least 3 Reformer Essentials classes or privates.

Welcome to Strength Reformer. This is an advanced class designed for clients looking for an extra challenge. This is an athletic workout offering advanced sequences to boost endurance and take your Pilates practice to the next level. This class is fast paced and recommended for clients that have taken at least 10 reformer Pilates classes and are comfortable incorporating weights, props, and other accessories.
Group Classes
Group classes are taught on the Balanced Body Studio reformers with up to 3 clients per class. All classes are taught in layers and increase in intensity so you can pick the level that's right for you. Modifications and corrections are offered to ensure a safe and challenging workout for all. L&T Pilates is located in beautiful Oakland, CA which is an urban city. Please give yourself plenty of time for parking and do not leave any valuables in your car or anything in plain sight. There is metered parking along Lakeshore Avenue and free street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods.

There is a callbox located to the left of the front door. When you arrive to the building, please call the studio by navigating through the directory to L&T Pilates and pressing “CALL”. From there, we will buzz you into the building! Entry to the building will be permitted up to 10 mins before class time. For example, if your class or session starts at 8:00AM and you dial L&T Pilates at 7:45AM, you will not be buzzed into the building until 7:50AM. This is to allow the previous class/session time to wrap up!

Welcome! We love newbies! We recommend to start with 3 beginner classes and/or private sessions to get yourself familiar with the equipment and class flow. Once you have completed 3 beginner classes or privates, you are welcome to join our regular group classes. Please wear comfortable fitting workout clothing, bring a water bottle, and grippy socks!

Yes, clients under the age of 16 are not permitted in group class. Clients 16-17 years of age are welcome in class, but will require a New Client Waiver to be signed by their parent or guardian.

All class and private packages have a 3 month expiration from date of purchase with the exception of New Client Specials which have a 14 or 30 day expiration from date of purchase .

Our monthly memberships requires a 3 month initial agreement and auto renews every month based on date of purchase. Classes expire each billing cycle and do not rollover to the next month. 2 week cancellation notice required if you want to terminate your membership. Late cancel and no show policies apply.

We recommend arriving 5-10 mins before class and no more than 10 mins before to allow the previous class time to wrap up.
To ensure a safe, focused experience for everyone, there is a 5-minute grace period after class start time. After 5 minutes, late arrivals will not be admitted into class.
First timers please try to arrive 10 mins before class so we can show you around the studio!

We require 24 hours cancellation for private & duet sessions and 12 hours cancellation for classes. For example, if your class time starts at 9:00AM, you will need to cancel before 9:00PM the evening prior. If you cancel within the 12 hour period for classes or 24 hour period for privates, the class/session will automatically be deducted from your account. See “no show” policy separately.

If you do not attend a scheduled class without canceling in advance in Momence, the class credit will be forfeited and a $30 no-show fee will be applied.

If you join the waitlist for a class, you will be automatically added to the class if a spot becomes available, up to 1 hour before the start time. You'll be notified of your updated status, so keep an eye on your notifications!
